Surprisingly revealing of Luther Burbank's feelings for all creations in nature. His passion for all things that grow and complete the life/death cycle and his desire to help humans be the best they can be may have been misunderstood by some. He was not the product of academia. He was the passionate, genuine "amateur" meaning he could no more live without experimenting to improve everything that he attempted to grow any more than Thomas Jefferson could have lived without book. This brief work is for everyone's book-to-keep list.Product details

The Training of the Human Plant Luther Burbank 9781141203468 Books Reviews
First, this is an essay, not a book; fewer than 100 pages, each with maybe 110 words. The cover is well produced, but the text looks like a poor photocopies of mimeograph pages. The content is interesting only because it was written in 1906. If you are looking for wisdom or insight, search elsewhere.
Luther Burbanks reminds us that the NATURE of the child is the most precious resource we have... The horrible destruction of nature we can see all around the world will not stop until we will have understood what Bubanks tells us in this small book.
While we have glorified many of our citizens beyond their worth, Luther Burbank cannot be overvalued.
A true genius, he has changed the world and will change it more for the better if we but listen closely.
Good Read. Luther Burbank is an American legend.
Great read
